Watermelon Conguita F1 — an early, portion-sized hybrid of the Shuga Baby type, developed by the Dutch seed company Rijk Zwaan. This watermelon features compact fruit sizes weighing between 1.5 to 3 kg, with a round shape and dark green rind. The flesh is bright red, very sweet and juicy, with a sugar content of 13–14%, containing a small amount of edible seeds, without cavities or fibers. Thanks to its tough rind, the fruit has excellent market appearance and is suitable for long-term storage and transport without quality loss.

The Conguita F1 plant exhibits good leafiness and long vines with many fruit set points. The vegetative period is approximately 62–65 days, allowing cultivation both in open ground and under temporary plastic coverings. The hybrid shows high resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases, reducing agronomic requirements and ensuring a stable yield.
