Extazy F1

The watermelon Extazy F1 is a late-maturing seedless hybrid of the Mini type, developed by the Dutch company Hazera. The vegetative period is approximately 75-85 days from the time of transplanting seedlings to the permanent location. The plant exhibits strong and robust growth, abundant foliage, and a well-developed root system, enabling it to effectively withstand stressful growing conditions and adverse weather. For successful fruit formation, planting a hybrid pollinator or using bee hives at a rate of 5 hives per hectare is required.

The fruits of the watermelon Extazy F1 have an ideal round shape and weigh between 1.5 to 2.5 kg. The rind is a vibrant green color with narrow light-green stripes, glossy and attractive. The flesh is bright red, dense, crisp, very juicy, and sweet with a high sugar content of 13-14%. Due to these qualities, the watermelons are suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and preservation. The yield has a high commercial output (90-95%) and can be stored for a long time, allowing transportation over long distances without loss of quality.

The hybrid Extazy F1 is characterized by stable and high yield when planted at the recommended density of 14-18 thousand plants per hectare for seedless varieties and 3-4 thousand for pollinators. Due to its resistance to diseases such as fusarium and anthracnose, as well as its ability to adapt to adverse conditions, this watermelon is a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones.
