The average weight of the watermelon ranges from 9.6 to 10 kg, the rind is of medium thickness, and the flesh is characterized by a dark pink-red color and medium density. The NEXUS variety is distinguished by high yield: when grown under double mulch film on dry land, the yield of marketable fruits reaches 7.6 kg per square meter, and of early production — 3.8 kg per square meter. The recovery of marketable produce is 98%, indicating high quality and uniformity of the fruits. Watermelons are well-suited for both local consumption and transportation, maintaining their marketable qualities for 25 days after harvest.
