Arma custos is a species of shield bug belonging to the family Pentatomidae. While many pentatomids are strictly herbivorous, this species is known for its predatory behavior, feeding on a wide range of prey including beetle larvae and caterpillars. However, it can occasionally exhibit phytophagous behavior, causing damage to agricultural crops.
