Description

The Egyptian bean weevil (Bruchidius incarnatus) is a significant insect pest belonging to the family Bruchidae (seed beetles) within the order Coleoptera. This species is notorious for causing substantial losses in stored leguminous crops, particularly in warm and temperate climates where it can reproduce rapidly.

The primary hosts of this pest include various types of beans, lentils, and other grain legumes.
