The rose case-bearer (Coleophora gryphipennella) is a small moth belonging to the family Coleophoridae. It is widely recognized by the unique protective cases that the larvae construct from plant materials, which they carry around as they feed and navigate across the foliage of host plants.

The primary hosts for this pest are members of the Rosaceae family, particularly cultivated roses and wild rose species (Rosa). The larvae are specialized feeders, and their presence can be highly detrimental to the appearance and health of rose bushes in both private and professional gardens.
