Diconocoris is a genus of insects belonging to the family Tingidae, commonly known as lace bugs. These small insects are characterized by their intricate, lace-like appearance caused by the reticulated structure of their hemelytra and pronotum. They are recognized in agronomy as significant sap-sucking pests that can negatively impact plant health and vigor.

The host range of Diconocoris includes various tree species, shrubs, and specific ornamental plants. They are typically found colonizing the undersides of leaves, where they establish colonies for feeding. Their impact is often underestimated until visible damage appears, making early detection crucial for maintaining healthy crops and nursery stocks.

The life cycle consists of egg, nymph, and adult stages, with generations overlapping during the warmer months.
