Dorymyrmex is a genus of ants belonging to the order Hymenoptera and the family Formicidae. In agricultural settings, these insects are considered significant pests due to their strong mutualistic relationship with honeydew-producing hemipterans, which negatively impacts the yield and health of various cultivated plants.
