These organisms are recognized as significant agricultural pests that affect various woody plant species, causing economic losses in orchards and ornamental plantations across warm climate regions.

The host range for Pseudaspidoproctus is quite extensive. It primarily targets fruit trees, citrus, and various exotic ornamentals.
