Starioides is a genus of insects belonging to the order Hemiptera and the family Pentatomidae. These pests are widely recognized in agricultural practice as significant sap-sucking insects that can affect both the vegetative and reproductive stages of various agricultural crops by extracting essential plant nutrients.
The host range of Starioides includes cereals, oilseeds, and horticultural crops.
