The native habitat of the plant primarily consists of rocky outcrops, granite cliffs, and steep slopes where few other plants can establish a root system. Its distribution is closely linked to its unique biological adaptation to survive in regions with sporadic rainfall and thin, nutrient-poor soil compositions, making it a true desert and mountain survivor.
