This cross-breed is widely celebrated for its structural beauty, featuring fern-like, divided foliage and striking, toothbrush-shaped inflorescences that bloom in vibrant shades ranging from orange to deep red.
Originating from Australia, the species has adapted to arid and semi-arid conditions, requiring high sunlight exposure and excellent soil aeration. In a horticultural context, it is cultivated primarily in Mediterranean-type climates, as it lacks significant frost tolerance and struggles in environments with persistently high humidity levels.
Botanically, this shrub is characterized by its woody, branching structure that can reach several meters in height. The leaves are typically stiff and deeply lobed, often covered with fine hairs, which help the plant retain moisture.
