CAMELOT BLUE

The Astra Camilot Blue variety is a decorative plant with a columnar bush form, about 60 cm tall. The inflorescences are hemispherical, double-flowered, about 8 cm in diameter, consisting of wide ray florets pointing upwards and curved inward, tightly fitting together and covering the disk of small yellow tubular flowers. One plant forms 9 to 12 such inflorescences, giving the plant an impressive and neat appearance. This variety is distinguished by an early flowering period, which lasts from July to November, allowing one to enjoy bright blue flowers for a long time.

Camilot Blue is distinguished by high decorative qualities and versatility of application. It looks great in both flower beds and borders, balcony boxes, and is also suitable for cutting due to the long preservation period of cut flowers - up to 14-18 days in water. The plant is resistant to rain and short-term frosts, which makes it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions.

The agrotechnics of growing Astra Camilot Blue is quite simple. The plant is light-loving and cold-resistant, prefers well-drained soils without water stagnation and drought. It is propagated by seedling and direct sowing methods. Seeds are sown in March-April, pre-soaking them in a solution of microelements or growth stimulants to improve germination. Seedlings are grown at a temperature of about 15 degrees with intensive illumination, and planted in open ground in May with a distance between plants of 20-30 cm. It is also possible to sow seeds directly into the ground at the end of April or May.
