CRYSTAL SLIPPER ASTER

Astera Crystal Slipper is an annual plant growing from 55 to 65 cm tall, featuring an upright, columnar, and densely foliated bush. The leaves are elongated-oval and dark green, while the central flower stem reaches a length of about 35 cm. The flower heads are double, peony-shaped, approximately 6 cm in diameter, with medium density, and white in color. The ray florets are broad and boat-shaped, while the tubular florets are small and yellow, partially covered. The plant has a faint aroma and blooms late, with a flowering duration of about 50 days. Astera Crystal Slipper prefers sunny locations with soil rich in limestone. In southern regions, seeds are sown in the open ground from mid-March to May, while in more northern areas, sowing occurs in March-April at a depth of 1-1.5 cm. Seedlings are transplanted at an age of 45-50 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees. Blooming occurs from August to October, allowing the plant to be used for decorating flower beds and floral arrangements. The variety is distinguished by its cold hardiness and resistance to Fusarium, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
