GENTLE DAWN

The "Gentle Dawn" aster cultivar is a beautiful shrub plant with bright red-raspberry flowers that have ray florets and a bright yellow center. The height of the adult plant reaches from 50 to 75 cm, and the diameter of the inflorescences is about 8-10 cm. The flowers differ in their original shape with long, twisted along the petals, whose central petals are turned inward, almost completely hiding the central disk, which gives the flowers special decorativeness and color saturation.

This light-loving and frost-hardy plant is capable of growing both in sunny areas and in partial shade. It prefers well-drained, moderately moist soils of neutral acidity and does not tolerate waterlogging and drought. Thanks to its cold resistance, the aster winters without shelter, which makes it convenient for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

The "Gentle Dawn" cultivar blooms from August to October, which allows it to be used for creating bright autumn compositions in landscape design. The plant is compact and sturdy, with 12-15 flowering stems, which makes it suitable for growing both by seedling method and by sowing seeds directly into the ground. Moreover, the aster is excellent for cutting and use in bouquets, adding saturated shades to autumn floral compositions.
