Golubaya Laguna

The 'Blue Lagoon' aster is a compact, perennial shrub reaching up to 50 cm in height and width, featuring densely branched, upright stems. Its dark green, lanceolate, sessile leaves create a dense backdrop for the vibrant flowers. The plant is known for its unpretentiousness and frost resistance, making it ideal for growing in various garden conditions.

The aster's blooms feature a rich, vivid blue hue with a yellow center, reminiscent of an endless blue lagoon. The semi-double flowers, approximately 5-6 cm in diameter, form numerous shields that adorn the bush from late July or August and maintain their decorative appeal until October-November. The flowering period lasts about 35-40 days, creating a striking accent in the autumn garden.

Thanks to its compact shape and vibrant color, 'Blue Lagoon' pairs excellently with other plants and is widely used for group plantings, border design, mixed borders, and container compositions. It is also suitable for cutting and bouquet creation, attracting beneficial insects and enlivening the garden with cool blue shades until the first frosts.
