Description
Lady Coral Light Blue aster is a tall plant with a pyramidal bush shape, reaching a height of 60-70 cm. The inflorescences of this series feature an unusual shape resembling both a rose and a chrysanthemum, with a spherical, densely double-flowered structure measuring 10-12 cm in diameter. Light blue petal colors give the flower bed and bouquets an exquisite and delicate appearance. Strong flower stalks ensure long-lasting freshness of the flowers both in the open ground and as cut flowers.
For successful growing of Lady Coral asters, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas with fertile loamy or sandy loam soil. Seeds are sown via seedlings in March-April, pricking out the plants when the first pair of true leaves appears according to a 5x5 cm scheme. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground from mid-May to early June. A seedless sowing method is also possible directly into the ground early in spring or over winter, followed by mulching with peat or sawdust.
The Lady Coral series is distinguished by high resistance to Fusarium and low maintenance requirements, responding well to fertilization. Thanks to the exceptional density of inflorescences and the large number of flowers on one plant, the aster maintains its decorative qualities for a long time under any weather conditions. These qualities make it an excellent choice for professional cut flower production, as well as for decorating home gardens.
