MARSIANKA

The Astra variety MARSIANKA is a captivating plant with double-flowered inflorescences 6-7 cm in diameter, featuring a rich pink color with a bright white longitudinal stripe on the ray florets. The plant has a columnar shape with sturdy flower stalks reaching 50-55 cm in height; up to 20 inflorescences bloom simultaneously on a single bush, making it particularly eye-catching during the flowering period. The petals feature a double coloration, creating an unusual variegated appearance that attracts attention and decorates any plot.

To successfully grow the Astra MARSIANKA, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas with fertile loamy or sandy loam soil. The plant is highly cold-hardy and can withstand frosts down to -3-4°C, which expands its cultivation possibilities under various climatic conditions. The variety is most often grown via seedlings: seeds are sown in March-April, transplanted when the first pair of true leaves appears using a 5x5 cm spacing scheme, and seedlings are planted in open ground from mid-May to early June. Direct sowing of seeds into the soil in early spring or in autumn with subsequent mulching using peat or sawdust is also possible.

The Astra MARSIANKA is widely used for decorating flowerbeds, borders, and lawns, looking especially impressive in separate groups.
