SAMARSKAYA BELAYA

The common bean variety 'Samarskaya Belaya' is a medium-maturing vegetable variety with a vegetation period of 75 to 103 days, maturing approximately 5 days earlier than the standard variety 'Bezenchukskaya Belaya'. The plant is bushy, of medium height up to 60 cm, with medium intensity of green leaf coloration and purple flowers. Pods, at the beginning of seed growth, have a green color with purple spots, are slightly curved, long, with a cross-section ranging from elliptical to oval, and a long beak. Seeds are pinkish-beige with a purple mottled pattern, kidney-shaped, slightly curved, and have a characteristic ring around the hilum that differs in color from the main seed color.

The average yield of the variety under conditions of the Samara region is 11.3 centners per hectare, which is 2 centners higher compared to the benchmark variety. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 342 to 562 grams, which significantly exceeds the indicators of the 'Bezenchukskaya Belaya' variety. Protein content in seeds reaches 23.7-25.0%, making this variety valuable in terms of quality and nutritional value. Culinary properties of the bean are assessed as excellent, and according to the manufacturer, the variety has resistance to bacterial blight and main viral diseases.

'Samarskaya Belaya' bean is rich in protein, which is of equal quality to meat protein and is better absorbed by the body.
