KUTUZOVKA

The Kutilzovka cherry variety begins to ripen in the second decade of June, delighting with large fruits of an average weight of about 8 grams. The fruits have a broad-heart shape and a dark red color, which becomes almost black when fully ripe. The flesh is characterized by a dense and juicy consistency, a rich dark red color, and a harmonious sweet-sour taste, which makes this variety particularly attractive to consumers.

The Kutilzovka tree is characterized by medium growth vigor and a round crown of medium density. Fruiting begins in the fourth year after planting. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good fruit transportability, which makes it in demand for both private gardens and industrial plantings. The fruits are easily detached from the pedicel, with medium attachment strength and dry separation.

Kutilzovka has increased resistance to drought and fruit cracking, which helps maintain crop quality under unfavorable weather conditions. However, the variety has limited frost hardiness and is not recommended for cultivation in regions with cold winters. The best results are achieved when grown in climatic conditions similar to the Crimean region, where the variety was bred.
