The tree is characterized by its tall stature and spherical, raised canopy, with high winter hardiness and resistance to multiple fungal diseases, including moniliosis and coccomyces. The variety is known for its rapid fruiting and high moisture tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The Orion cherry fruits are large, weighing 8 to 12 grams, with a flat-round or slightly flattened shape and a noticeable ventral suture. The skin is dark red with numerous small, barely noticeable lenticels. The flesh is dense, juicy, slightly fibrous, deep red, and has a pleasant sweet-sour flavor.
