Description
PRITCHUDA fruits are large, weighing from 8 to 15 grams, with a rich dark red skin and light flesh with veins. The berries have a sweet taste with light cherry notes and a pronounced aroma, while the stone is small and easily separated. The fruit juice has a red or dark-red color. Due to its taste qualities, which received a high tasting evaluation, this variety is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making jams, compotes, baked goods, and other types of canning.
The tree begins to bear fruit already in the 3-4th year after planting, making it attractive for both home gardeners and industrial cultivation. PRITCHUDA requires pollination by other cherry or cherry plum varieties as it is self-sterile. High yield and early ripening make this variety in-demand and easy to grow, while its frost resistance and resistance to fungal diseases ensure reliability and quality of the harvest.
