DELETZ

The alfalfa variety DELETZ is a tetraploid single-cut plant with a late flowering period. The stem of this variety is long, of medium thickness, and lacks or has very weak pubescence. The leaves have medium length and width, while white markings on the leaf blade are observed in many plants. The inflorescences are purple, and the seeds are multicolored, which is a characteristic feature of this variety.

DELETZ is characterized by high dry matter yield, which reaches 63.2 c/ha in the Northwestern region and 48.1 c/ha in the Central region, exceeding standard indicators by 4.2 and 1.4 c/ha, respectively. In the Northern region, the yield can reach 78.3 c/ha. The variety is resistant to alfalfa blister rust, but is susceptible to anthracnose infection to a medium or strong degree, which should be taken into account when growing.

It is recommended for cultivation in such regions as Leningrad, Moscow, and Smolensk, as well as in the Northern, Northwestern, and Central regions. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and disease resistance, the DELETZ variety is a promising choice for obtaining stable and high yields in various climatic conditions.
