Flamingo

FLAMINGO is a hybrid clover (Trifolium hybridum L.) variety intended for multi-year field forage production and clover hay harvesting. The variety is characterized by early maturity: the period from the start of regrowth to flowering is 54-62 days, and to seed maturity is 108-123 days. Thanks to high winter hardiness (75-90%) and resistance to root rot, FLAMINGO is successfully grown in various climatic conditions, ensuring stable seed productivity and high forage value.

FLAMINGO clover is characterized by high dry matter forage productivity, which varies from 33.8 to 114.5 centners/ha for two cuts. The dry matter contains a significant amount of protein (16.75-19.44%), fat (2.97-3.54%) and fiber (14.57-18.10%), which makes this variety an excellent source of complete and high-quality feed for animals. Powerful initial development and excellent resistance to fungal diseases ensure reliability and efficiency of cultivation.

The FLAMINGO variety is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and is widely used in mixtures with other forage grasses to obtain a balanced feed product. Seeds have a mass of 1000 seeds from 1.04 to 1.26 g, which contributes to good germination and even plant growth.
