Hybrid clover Ladoga is a diploid variety of Trifolium hybridum L., intended for lawn use and agricultural production. This variety is distinguished by its decorative appeal, low growth habit, and high bushiness, which ensures good regrowth after mowing. Stems are of medium length and thickness with a small number of internodes, while leaflets are triple, of medium length and width, predominantly without white spots. Inflorescences have a pink-white coloration, and seeds are characterized by a multicolored coat, including grey-green, black, and yellow shades. Ladoga is an early-maturing variety with a growing season from the start of spring regrowth to the first cut, lasting 37-48 days. Flowering time is medium or early, which allows for effective use of this clover in agronomy to create stable and high-yield crop systems. The variety demonstrates good resistance to diseases and unfavorable conditions, which increases its popularity among agricultural enterprises. Yield of the Ladoga variety is quite high: average green mass yield reaches 109.3 ц/га, hay yield is 87.5 ц/га, and seed yield is 3.0-4.0 ц/га. These indicators make this variety attractive for use both for decorative purposes and for fodder production. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, Ladoga clover is successfully used in various agronomic systems, ensuring a stable and quality yield.
