MARUSINSKIY 150

Marusinskiy 150 meadow clover is a bean grass variety registered in 1942 and developed by the Morshansk Breeding Station. This variety belongs to single-cut types and is intended for cultivation in various regions of Central Russia, including Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Moscow, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, as well as Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, and Tambov regions. Marusinskiy 150 is well-adapted to moderate climate conditions and is suitable for use in crop rotations as an effective predecessor for crops.

Meadow clover Marusinskiy 150 is distinguished by its high feed value. It contains digestible protein, fats, fiber, vitamins, and trace elements, making it an important component of animal feed rations. However, it should be noted that excessive protein in feed can lead to tympany in animals. The yield of this variety for hay is on average 2.5-3.0 tons per hectare, and under favorable conditions can reach 5-6 tons. Seed yield varies within 0.5-0.6 tons per hectare.

For successful cultivation of Marusinskiy 150 clover, it is recommended to choose zones with sufficient rainfall levels or use irrigated areas. Due to its ability to accumulate nitrogen in the soil, this variety contributes to increased fertility and improved soil structure.
