Description
Plants reach a height of about 260 cm, with the ear positioned at 90 cm. The cylindrical ear contains 14-18 rows of dent corn kernels in yellow-orange color. The hybrid has moderate ability to form two ears. The FAO index is 440, corresponding to the mid-late maturity group with a vegetative period of approximately 120-130 days. The potential grain yield reaches 16.3 t/ha, varying depending on the region: around 13.2 t/ha in the Forest-Steppe and up to 16.3 t/ha in the Polesie.
DM Sunrise demonstrates high resistance to drought, diseases (including common and southern rust), as well as pests such as the corn borer. The hybrid exhibits the Stay Green effect, which helps maintain green mass and improve feed quality. The minimum soil temperature for sowing is 10-12°С. The recommended plant population before harvest varies by region, ranging from 30 to 75 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal conditions for maximum productivity.
