A reliable, immunity-strong hybrid designed to minimize losses during mechanized harvesting.
Description
Stable Yields with Minimal Risk
In unpredictable weather conditions, 'DN Fond' is a hybrid that 'forgives' many agronomic mistakes. Working with it in the field, it becomes clear: the breeding work of the 'Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS' is focused on strong immunity. Unlike imported hybrids that demand perfect microclimates, this corn confidently resists major field threats—fusarium, stalk rot, and boil smut. Field experience confirms: even during a corn borer infestation, the plant maintains stalk integrity, which is critical for loss-free mechanized harvesting.
Operational Features and Planting Densities
As a simple hybrid, it displays excellent uniformity, significantly simplifying combine calibration. We recommend sticking to a density of 80,000–85,000 plants/ha; this is the density at which the hybrid fully unlocks its grain production potential.
- Vegetation: 120–140 days. This allows for planned harvesting, even if the autumn season runs late.
- FAO: The 90–1240 range underscores its adaptability to various climatic zones across Ukraine.
- Stability: High resistance to lodging reduces loss risks during over-ripening.
'DN Fond' offers the predictability that many modern lineups lack. There is no need for constant 'babysitting' of the crops: the hybrid shows high responsiveness to standard agronomic practices, delivering stable grain yields with predictable moisture-loss characteristics.

Corn hybrids are classified by maturity groups and by the FAO number. All corn hybrids are distributed according to the FAO scale. Under Central European conditions, a difference of 10 FAO units between hybrids results in a 1-2 day difference in their maturity. The higher the FAO... |

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
