Description
The DN Kiyahy hybrid exhibits high grain yield — 11.5-13.0 t/ha, exceeding the standard DN Pivihya by 0.42-0.84 t/ha at the same grain moisture level at harvest. It rapidly accumulates dry matter and is characterized by intensive moisture release from the grain, facilitating drying. Plants are resistant to root and stem lodging, have high cold, drought, and heat resistance, as well as resistance to diseases such as corn smut and fusarium.
DN Kiyahy responds well to improved growing conditions and can develop even on soils with low agrofertility. The recommended planting density varies depending on the growing zone: in Steppe — 55-65 thousand plants per hectare, in Forest-Steppe — 70-80 thousand/ha, in Polissia — 80-90 thousand/ha. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is an effective choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields under various climatic conditions.
