Description
DUELING offers several agronomic advantages, including high lodging resistance, which reduces yield loss and facilitates harvest. The hybrid demonstrates high drought and spring cold tolerance, as well as a pronounced Staygreen effect, which helps maintain green mass and improves grain quality. It is resistant to major diseases such as stalk rot, helminthosporium, and ear rot, ensuring stable yields even under stress conditions. Due to its rapid moisture release from the ear, the grain reaches optimal moisture levels for harvest more quickly, allowing for later harvests without quality loss.
Recommendations for growing the DUELING hybrid include optimal planting density depending on the region: 60-75 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 55-70 thousand under unstable conditions, and 50-65 thousand under insufficient moisture. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones — steppes, forest-steppe, and lowland areas — and can be successfully grown in monoculture. Sowing temperature ranges vary from early 8-10 ºC to optimal 10-12 ºC and late 12-14 ºC, providing flexibility in agronomic practices. Seed packaging contains 50 thousand seeds, which is convenient for large-scale agricultural production.

Corn hybrids are classified by maturity groups and by the FAO number. All corn hybrids are distributed according to the FAO scale. Under Central European conditions, a difference of 10 FAO units between hybrids results in a 1-2 day difference in their maturity. The higher the FAO... |

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
