Description
ES Concord is distinguished by high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. The hybrid exhibits maximum drought tolerance, resistance to lodging, as well as to stalk and ear fusarium, helminthosporium, smut, and downy mildew. High initial growth energy ensures uniform emergence even under temperature fluctuations, and spring frosts or summer heat do not affect kernel quality or fill. Rapid moisture release during the ripening stage contributes to high meal yield.
Recommended for cultivation in the climatic and soil conditions of the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, including sandy and loamy soils. The optimal planting density is 75-80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 65-70 thousand under limited moisture. The hybrid responds well to modern cultivation technologies, including the use of insurance herbicides, and can be used in organic farming. The hybrid’s yield is consistently high, and in recent years it has ranged between 74 to 128 centners per hectare, with maximum yields exceeding 137 centners per hectare in certain regions.
