Kamponi KS

Kamponi KS corn is a mid-season simple hybrid with a vegetation period optimal for various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 325 cm, with ears positioned at 130 cm. The kernels are dent type, arranged in 14 rows with 38 kernels per row, and the 1000-kernel weight is 304 g. The hybrid has a high yield potential of up to 145 centners per hectare, making it attractive for cultivation both for grain and silage.

One of the key advantages of Kamponi KS is its resistance to adverse weather conditions, including high temperatures and drought. The hybrid demonstrates good germination in dry conditions and high initial growth energy. It also exhibits high resistance to several diseases, such as helminthosporium, powdery mildew, and corn borer. These qualities ensure stable yields and reduce risks of losses during cultivation.

To achieve maximum productivity, early planting is recommended using soil moisture reserves. Optimal planting density depends on the climatic zone: in the forest-steppe region, 70-75 thousand plants per hectare are recommended, while in the steppe region — 60-65 thousand. Yield can be significantly increased with the application of mineral fertilizers and irrigation or drip irrigation. Rapid kernel moisture loss during ripening facilitates harvesting and reduces losses.
