Description
The hybrid is characterized by high yield: in production conditions, it ranges from 11.0 to 14.1 t/ha, and on variety trial plots, it reaches 14.5 t/ha. MASHUK 355 MV is resistant to low temperatures and drought, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. It also shows resistance to southern helminthosporiosis and stalk rot, but is susceptible to ear bacterial disease and Fusarium. The hybrid has a tendency to form double ears and positively responds to increased nitrogen fertilizer rates.
The recommended plant population per hectare depends on moisture conditions: 60-65 thousand plants under sufficient moisture, 55-60 thousand plants under limited moisture, and up to 70 thousand plants under irrigation. Due to rapid moisture reduction in grain during maturation, MASHUK 355 MV is an excellent choice for early planting and ensures a stable, high yield under extensive cultivation methods.
