Description
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to southern helminthosporium, stalk rots, powdery mildew, and stalk breakage below the ear, ensuring reliability during plant stand. MAŠUK 350 MV is drought-tolerant and efficiently utilizes water under dry conditions, quickly loses moisture during grain maturation, facilitating harvest and reducing losses. Plants have dark green leaf coloration and exhibit high responsiveness to fertilization and irrigation, enabling high yields under intensive agronomy.
To achieve maximum productivity, fertilizer application should be adjusted according to regional moisture levels: in adequately moist zones, norms are N90–120, P60–80, K60–80; in unstable moisture zones — N90, P60, K60; and in insufficiently moist zones — N60, P40, K40. Under irrigation, nitrogen dosage should be increased by 30%. Effective use of pre-sowing complex fertilizers and recommended herbicides for crop protection is advised. Optimal sowing dates in the Central Chernozem region are the first decade of May upon soil warming to 8–10 °C. Recommended plant density at harvest is 60–65 thousand per hectare on dry land and up to 80 thousand per hectare under irrigation.
MAŠUK 350 MV is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements and is widely used in the Central Chernozem region of Russia. The hybrid has proven itself as high-yielding and reliable, with grain yields exceeding standards and high silage mass output, confirmed by data from various farms. In 2007, the hybrid was awarded the Gold Medal at the exhibition 'Day of the Russian Field,' reflecting its high quality and significance for agriculture.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
