NK Timic

The NK Timic (NK Therm) maize hybrid is a medium-maturing, high-yielding variety with a FAO number of 330, designed for cultivation in forest-steppe and northern steppe zones. It features high productivity with a potential yield of 14-15 tons per hectare and stability of performance even under adverse climatic conditions. The seeds possess high cold tolerance, allowing early planting at soil temperatures of +6...8°C, as well as good drought resistance and disease resistance, including root and stalk rots, and ear rot. Morphologically, the hybrid is characterized by a strong root system and erect leaf positioning, which promotes good stem leafing and formation of uniform, nearly perfectly aligned ears with cream-toothed kernels of warm yellow hue. Under favorable conditions, the plant can form two economically useful ears, further increasing yield. The hybrid is adapted to monoculture and can be grown repeatedly on the same field without loss of productivity. NK Timic exhibits rapid grain moisture loss at maturity, facilitating harvest and reducing yield loss risks. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 40-50 thousand under limited moisture. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage use, demonstrating high productivity, lodging resistance, and rapid early growth, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking stable and high yields.
