Description
The hybrid's productivity is characterized by high grain and silage mass yields. Average grain yield varies by region: in the Middle Volga region it is about 26.7 centners per hectare, in the Ural region — 7.6 centners per hectare, in the Central region — up to 77.5 centners per hectare, in the West Siberian region — 67.8 centners per hectare, and in the Volga-Vyatka region — 46.2 centners per hectare. Record yields of grain were achieved at the Kobrin Variety Testing Station, where the yield reached 132 centners per hectare. Moreover, the hybrid exhibits high silage mass productivity, reaching over 600 centners per hectare in some trials with dry matter content around 30%, making it attractive for comprehensive use in agriculture.
Thanks to its wide ecological plasticity, the hybrid OBSKIY 140 SV successfully adapts to various soil-climatic conditions, expanding its application potential. It matures for grain in the Central Chernozem region, southern Belarus, and several regions of Russia, including Samara, Orenburg, Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan, and Chelyabinsk. High resistance to adverse factors and stable yield make this hybrid one of the best-selling and preferred choices for farmers seeking high-quality and stable corn yields.
