Odessa 10 — a high-yielding, mid-season corn hybrid recommended for cultivation in the steppe soil-climate zone. The vegetation period from emergence to full maturity is approximately 119 days in the steppe and 121 days in the forest-steppe. Plants reach a height of 220–240 cm, have 12–13 above-ground nodes, and 16–17 leaves. The ear is conical, forms at a height of 75–85 cm, is 19–20 cm long, and weighs about 254 g. The rows contain 16–18 kernels, with 45 kernels per row. The kernels are cream-colored, with a dentate appearance, and have a yield of 77.1% and a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 265 g. Protein content in the grain is 9.7%, and moisture at maturity varies from 25.7% to 28.2% depending on the cultivation zone.

The hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and stem breakage, as well as high cold tolerance. It is resistant to common rust and tolerant to southern rust, providing reliable protection for the crop. Damage by corn borer is at standard levels. Additional seed treatment with a mixture of insecticide, fungicide, and growth stimulator can be applied to enhance protection and productivity.

Odessa 10 demonstrates stable yields, averaging 70–75 ц/га, and can reach up to 111.6 ц/га under irrigation. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage production, making it a versatile choice for various agronomic conditions.
