Description
The hybrid is characterized by high productivity and resistance. The maximum grain yield recorded in state variety trials reached 12.51 t/ha, significantly exceeding the performance of standard hybrids. The yield of dry matter was also higher by 3-10 tons per hectare compared to benchmarks. PROKHLAGNENSKY 185 SV is characterized by high stature (up to 250 cm) and ear attachment height up to 100 cm. It is resistant to lodging, stem breakage, and damage by corn stem borer, and also exhibits moderate resistance to powdery mildew. The grain is dent-shaped, yellow, with dry matter content around 30%.
The recommended planting density varies depending on growing conditions: 60-65 thousand plants per hectare for plowed and dry conditions, and 70-75 thousand for irrigated fields and zones with sufficient moisture. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, making it a universal solution for agricultural enterprises aiming to achieve high and stable yields under various climatic conditions.
