The R9170 corn hybrid is a mid-season simple hybrid with dent-type grain and FAO 320. It features rapid early growth and high resistance to lodging, ensuring reliability in various climatic conditions. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage production, making it a versatile solution for agricultural producers. The grain yield potential ranges from 11 to 14 tons per hectare under conventional soil management.

R9170 exhibits high resistance to common corn diseases and demonstrates excellent drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation in regions of Ukraine such as Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe. The hybrid also has high moisture release, facilitating timely and quality harvest. Recommended planting density before harvest is 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under favorable conditions and 60-65 thousand under adverse conditions.

To achieve maximum productivity, avoid late harvesting and apply post-emergence herbicides according to crop development stages. The hybrid is suitable for all planting dates, providing flexibility in agronomic practices and adaptability to various growing conditions.
