RAGT BOXER

RAGT BOXER is a simple, two-line, medium-early hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) with FAO 320, intended for grain production. The plant is characterized by high stature, narrow leaves, and weak anthocyanic pigmentation of various parts, including the sheath of the first leaf, roots, tassels, and silk. The ear is of medium length and diameter, slightly conical, with medium-length stalk and average number of rows. The grain is intermediate type with yellow-orange upper part and yellow lower part. The vegetative period ranges from 103 to 119 days depending on the cultivation region. The hybrid exhibits high yield potential and adaptability to various climatic conditions. In the Central Chernozem region, average grain yield reaches 87.5 centners per hectare, in the North Caucasus — 58.9 centners per hectare, and in the Lower Volga — 57 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding standard benchmarks. Grain moisture at harvest varies from 17.2% to 24.9%, facilitating storage and processing. Recommended planting density depends on cultivation conditions: 75-80 thousand plants per hectare under optimal conditions, 50-60 thousand under dry conditions. RAGT BOXER possesses high disease resistance, including Fusarium stalk and ear rot, and drought tolerance, making it popular among agricultural producers. The hybrid successfully grows in various regions, including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga, and is suitable for peatland, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. Its stable productivity and adaptability ensure a reliable harvest of high-quality grain.
