RAM 1023

Corn RAM 1023 is a medium-early three-line hybrid with FAO maturity group 230, developed by LLC "NI Institute of Agricultural Business". This hybrid is characterized by high stability and adaptability to growing conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie. RAM 1023 has a high grain yield potential, reaching 115-125 c/ha, and responds well to improved agronomic conditions, allowing maximum expression of its productive qualities.

Morphobiological characteristics of the hybrid include plant height of 240-260 cm with 14 leaves on the main stem and a weak bushy growth type. Ears are 22-24 cm long, weakly conical in shape, and attached at a height of 80-90 cm. Grains are arranged in 14-16 rows, with 30-34 grains per row, have dent type, and orange-red color. The 1000-grain weight is approximately 260-280 g, indicating good grain quality and density.

Hybrid RAM 1023 exhibits high resistance to lodging and drought, scoring 9 out of 10 in these traits. It also provides good protection against major pests and diseases, ensuring reliable and stable yields. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is accelerated moisture loss during grain maturation, which facilitates harvesting and reduces loss risks. Recommended pre-harvest plant density varies depending on the cultivation zone: 55-60 thousand plants/ha in Steppe, 70-75 thousand plants/ha in Forest-Steppe, and 75-80 thousand plants/ha in Polesie.
