Practical field experience with "RSK Garant"

When we first introduced the "RSK Garant" hybrid from RosNIISK "Rossorgo" to our crop rotation, the goal was simple: get a predictable yield for both grain and silage without excessive input requirements. With an FAO rating of 90–1240, this hybrid demonstrated remarkable flexibility. It adapts well to different soil types, proving itself to be a reliable workhorse for our daily operations.

Pest resistance and field performance

The standout feature of this hybrid is its biological resilience. We’ve found that the European corn borer, typically a major headache in our fields, is not a critical threat to "RSK Garant". This allows us to cut back on insecticide applications, directly reducing our cost per ton. The stalks are remarkably sturdy; lodging is practically non-existent. This makes harvest time much smoother—the combine header picks up everything, and we don't have to slow down or deal with machine clogs.
