Description
SY Ondina is characterized by high cold tolerance and moderate drought resistance, enabling it to withstand temperature drops during early vegetation and adapt to various climatic conditions. The hybrid develops rapidly during early growth stages and demonstrates high tolerance to diseases such as downy mildew and helminthosporiosis. Thanks to these traits, it consistently achieves its productive potential under favorable growing conditions.
The hybrid's grain yield reaches a high level with an output of about 83%, with protein content in the grain ranging from 10-11%, starch up to 72%, and oil up to 4.6%. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage production. Early planting with optimal plant density at harvest (60 to 85 thousand per hectare) is recommended to maximize water use efficiency and achieve high crop productivity.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
