Description
Tirnavia exhibits high resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases. The hybrid demonstrates excellent cold, drought, and heat tolerance, allowing successful cultivation across various climatic zones, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. It is also resistant to diseases such as common and blister smut, rust, stalk rot, helminthosporium, and ear fusarium. Due to its high resistance to lodging during ripening and up to one month after, the hybrid maintains yield and grain quality.
Tirnavia is characterized by active growth dynamics in early vegetative stages and early flowering. It possesses high dry matter yield, ranging from 9 to 15 tons per hectare across various regions, with maximum silage yields reaching up to 40 tons per hectare. The recommended plant population varies by growing zone: from 35-40 thousand per hectare in southern steppe regions to 70-80 thousand per hectare in Polissia. High dry matter content at different planting times and excellent grain moisture release make this hybrid attractive for grain and silage production, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
