Zeta 120 corn is an early-maturing hybrid designed for cultivation as grain or silage. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various planting conditions, including early and late planting. The ears of this corn have a conical-cylindrical shape, 24-28 cm long, with 12-14 rows of kernels. The kernels are starchy, with color ranging from yellow to orange, and have a 1000-kernel weight of 300-320 g. The grain contains 71% starch and 12-14% protein, making this hybrid valuable for producing high-quality grain and silage.
The Zeta 120 hybrid exhibits high resistance to stress factors: drought tolerance, heat tolerance, and cold tolerance are rated at 7-8 points, while resistance to lodging and stalk breakage is rated at 9 points. This allows successful cultivation of corn in various climatic zones, including the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions, as well as in more severe conditions. Additionally, the hybrid is suitable for organic farming, expanding its application potential.
