Description
The plant exhibits high growth vigor — height reaches about 280 cm, with broad leaves and a small angle between leaf blade and stem, facilitating efficient photosynthesis. The tassel has moderate spikelet density, and anthocyanin coloring of various plant parts varies from absent to weak, which is a feature of this hybrid. Despite resistance to southern helminthosporium, ZPK 341 is susceptible to infection by common smut, bacterial blight, stalk rot, and severe damage from the stalk borer.
The seeds of hybrid ZPK 341 are produced by the Maize Institute 'Zemun Polje' in Serbia and treated with the Maxmim XL preparation for protection against diseases and pests. One planting unit contains 75,000 seeds, corresponding to F1 category and GOST R 52325-2005 standards. The hybrid is recommended for professional milk producers due to its high potential for green mass and grain yield, as well as rapid dry matter accumulation, enabling the production of high-energy silage with excellent digestibility.
