Description
MARSHAL® beet is characterized by elongated-oval root crops with a small root groove, which reduces soil contamination and facilitates harvesting. Root crop weight varies from 1.5 to 2.7 kg, which contributes to high productivity per area. The variety is distinguished by rapid growth of roots and leaves, as well as good drought resistance and insensitivity to soil type, which expands the possibilities of its cultivation in various regions.
Special attention is paid to crop preservation: root crops are stored well at temperatures from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius with minimal losses up to 2% until May. High dry matter content (16-17%) and easily digestible sugar make MARSHAL® fodder beet especially valuable for animal nutrition, providing them with necessary energy and nutrients.
