Description
Record Poly fodder beet is a high-yield variety intended for feeding various farm animals, including sheep, horses, cows, pigs, and poultry. The roots of this variety have a cylindrical or oval shape, are juicy and feature a rich red color. The average weight of the roots reaches about 5 kg, which contributes to high yields — from 1100 to 1300 centners per hectare. A feature of the variety is the shallow rooting of the roots in the soil, only 40%, which facilitates harvesting and keeps the beet clean, allowing for manual collection even with large harvest volumes.
Record Poly is characterized by a high content of nutrients, including fiber, vitamins, and minerals, as well as a significant sugar level, which makes it a particularly valuable feed for animals. The variety is resistant to bolting and most common diseases, which ensures crop stability and reduces risks during cultivation. Beet adapts well to various climatic conditions and is undemanding in care, however, to achieve maximum productivity, regular application of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, as well as weed control and thinning of plants is recommended.
For sowing Record Poly, a rate of 15-20 kg of seeds per hectare should be used, planting plants in rows with a distance of 60-70 cm between them and 15-20 cm between plants in a row. The optimal sowing time is 10-12 days after the start of field work to avoid premature flowering. Thanks to its feed qualities and ease of cultivation, this variety is an excellent choice for farmers seeking to provide their animals with quality and nutritious feed.
