Adexar Plus by BASF SE is a high-tech fungicide developed for intensive cereal farming. The core strength of the product lies in its combination of three key components: pyraclostrobin, epoxiconazole, and fluxapyroxad. This triad provides not only total pathogen control but also a powerful physiological effect on the crop.

Technical analysis of active components

• Fluxapyroxad (Xemium): A succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI). Its uniqueness lies in high mobility within the plant and the ability to penetrate the leaf's waxy layer, ensuring prolonged protection even under fluctuating temperature conditions.
• Pyraclostrobin: A strobilurin that drives the "AgCelence effect." It optimizes nitrogen metabolism, increases resistance to lodging and drought, and slows down tissue aging.
• Epoxiconazole: A reliable triazole that blocks ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cells, ensuring rapid arrest of infections with a strong curative effect.

Field performance and application

Formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, this product demonstrates exceptional efficacy against a broad spectrum of diseases, including septoria, tan spot, net blotch, and powdery mildew in winter wheat and barley. With an application rate of 0.75–1.5 L/ha, it allows for flexible protection strategies tailored to specific phytosanitary needs. Two applications with a 35-day pre-harvest interval ensure a stable disease-free environment during critical growth stages.
