Antracol 70 WP is a contact fungicide whose efficacy is fundamentally based on the active ingredient propineb (carbamate group). Formulation and Mechanism of Action

The product is available as a wettable powder. This formulation ensures the creation of a stable suspension that forms a uniform protective film upon application to the leaf surface. A key technical advantage of this formulation is its high degree of adhesion to plant tissues, preventing the fungicide from being washed off by precipitation. In practice, this ensures stable performance even under variable weather conditions.

Agrotechnical Parameters and Regulations

• Spectrum of Activity: The fungicide is effective against a wide range of fungal pathogens, including apple scab, alternaria and late blight in potatoes and tomatoes, as well as downy mildew on grapes.
• Application Rates: Operating dosages range from 1.0 to 2.0 kg/ha, allowing for flexible adjustment of the protection strategy based on the infection pressure.
• Safety Regulations: Classified as Hazard Class 3, the product requires standard precautions. The pre-harvest interval is 50 days, which must be taken into account when planning intensive treatment schedules.
• Frequency: No more than 3 treatments per growing season are allowed to maintain efficacy and monitor the chemical balance in the field.
